The current, geological map of Methanas is among the best maps that are available in Greece. This is the success of the collaboration of the Greek and German geologists, as well as the Swiss topographers Dr. Lorenz Hurni. All have committed themselves to Methana in the past, and continue to educate the next generation of students with the basics they have gained in their work with Methana. So Methana will not be forgotten!
